Throughout Lord of the Flies by William Golding, there are lots motifs. Golding does an excellent job keeping readers interested by allowing them to visualize everything in very detailed ways. The boys in Lord of the Flies were on a plane flying to somewhere safe and away from the war that was happening in Britain at time. On the boys way to a much more safer place the plane was shot at, causing it to crash on an isolated island. After this happens, the horrific story of survival of these young boys stranded on an island begins.
