Genocide is the act of mass murdering groups of people because of someone 's disliking. In other words getting rid of people or stop their existence, mostly because of their religion, ethnic, or race. One of the most atrocious ones was the Armenian Genocide(April 24,1915-1916), in which 1.5 million of the Armenian population, living in the Ottoman Empire were either deported or killed. During this time, the Turkish government had planned the genocide to get rid of the entire Armenian population in the Ottoman Empire(which was one of the largest empires to rule on the border of the Mediterranean Sea) because they feared that the Armenian community would join their enemy troops during WWI in 1915.
The Armenian Genocide caused generations of pain and loss of the rich heritage of the Armenians. Not only did the genocide cause major human losses, but also caused a major psychological and moral blow at the attempt to exterminate the Armenian nation from the root. The Armenian Genocide resulted with around 1.5 million Armenians massacred, with only around half a million surviving the genocide. Imperialism was a controversial idea that a nation can extend its power outward through means of diplomatic or military force. This often results in a shift of power from one major force currently in control to another. The people of that nation under control conflict may also experience wars, rebellions, or cultural destruction. As America became a great power, it has continued its legacy of territorial expansionism through neo-imperialist policies. Aside from acquiring land and expanding American territory, the United States has established policies that have allowed direct and often indirect military and political control, economic exploitation, and the introduction of American ideals. The U.S. has justified this form of colonialism by claiming that it is for mutual economic pursuits, the spreading of democracy, and the establishment of stable governments in developing countries. Despite America’s noble causes, American imperialism has caused many repercussions. The United States should cease to be an imperialist power as it is economically damaging to countries under its rule, costly to America, violates the fundamental American principle of self-governance, and exacerbates social and political situations in countries America has tampered with.

Imperialism actually means ‘to command land’ Around 600,000 people died from all of these different events No person or nation likes to be controlled, and that is what America was doing We took away people’s freedom Many people were shipped to America and used as slaves without their consent
Imperialism has been the strongest force this past century; Enslaving natives, while obliterating civilizations. Imperialism is when a country or civilization swallows another country for its land, labor, and raw materials with influence or military force. Imperialism was both, good and bad. Imperialism was a good thing because it expanded existing civilizations, and allowed people to be more civilized under a large military force. Imperialism was a bad thing because people in charge would become too power hungry and try to gain more of everything disregarding the people who are suppose to be civilized.
