Although the payday loan companies seem to take advantage of the financially vulnerable members of society, perhaps the true fault lies within the education of society. As mentioned by Gilmore in the article, “[A correlation was found] between the number of payday lenders in a neighborhood and premature mortality”. When it comes down to women, America’s Healthcare system has its ups and downs. Fortunately, a lot of women in the US have access to healthcare and can get medical treatments when they need one. In less developing countries women don’t always get medical attention because they can’t afford it. In that aspect, women in America have more health care benefits than women in poor countries. However, there are still women in America who are underserved, and uninsured and can’t afford health care due to poverty which leads them to not having proper medical care.
