Though Argentina and America are diverse in religion there are both huge differences and similarities in what religions are most prominent. Both countries have a religious pluralism that allows for multiple belief systems to co-exist within each of the countries. When looking at what similarities and differences it is also important to look at the amount of involvement the individual and the population has with that religion.
In Argentina, Roman Catholicism is the most prominent religion, counting for between 76-90% of its population. The second religion with the highest percent is evangelical Protestant, counting for 9% of the population.
