France had many economic and inequality problems. The poor were the ones that had to supply France with money, work for the estates above them, and could still not pay for their own food. This was a huge problem that caused the breakout of the French Revolution. In France there was three estates. The first estate was called the clergy. The clergy's were the leaders of the church and also taught children. They ruled France and controlled what the rules were made. The second estate was the Nobles. The Nobles had key positions in the military, church, and government. Neither of these estates had to pay taxes or had to work on their land. They were treated with royalty. The declaration had many policies. One of the policies was that every man shall be treated equal and would be granted resistance to oppression, property, security, and liberty. Also, the document stated that the government positions should be based on talent and not on your status in France. This policy help allow more third estate members to spread their ideas about France. Lastly, everyone is required to pay taxes. This was a huge part of the declaration because instead of the third estate paying for everything, now there would be a balance that would allow the third estate to save a little more money. Also there was more people who worked for the government instead of it just being the Nobles and Clergy.
The creation of the declaration limited the Monarchy that France had. This changed France completely.
