The Industrial Revolution was one of the most important parts of history for America specifically because of its small amount of time being independant. The Revolution had many good and bad effects, some being well worth it others not so much. Throughout history many people have suffered for the well being of others, this wasn’t so different. I generally believe that the problems people dealt with in the Revolution led to a better cause which was an advancement in technology changing modern society forever. One of the largest temporary problems that people in the working class had to deal with was child labor, it caused so many problems for children that would affect their lives forever. Children of that generation were illiterate, they lacked numeracy and were often sick due to work conditions(Document 1&13). A long lasting effect from the revolution is still a current problem which is pollution from the factories(Document
