In the year 1914, a life changing event occurred, which was the industrial revolution. The industrial revolution was major changes to manufacturing, transportation and agriculture. This economic change caused villagers living in insignificant communities to relocate to modern towns. These towns were located nearby sources of coal to fuel the machines and smelters.
The industrial revolution affected many people living in Britain. As their population continued to grow, more people were being relocated in the city. The cities were then starting to overcrowd. Diseases caused by poor sanitation started to spread amongst apartments taking lives of innocent people. These factories wouldn’t have been created if it weren’t for the most economic change in the period 1750-1914 of history, the industrial revolution. However, if Mass production wasn’t invented our local stores would be limited supply. This is why industrial revolution and the invention of mass production is important in our everyday lives today.
