On January 10th, 1776, Thomas Paine Published his newest book, ¨Common Sense¨ which would soon become a New York Times best selling author. Paine decided to write all of his books because he had ideas of political changes that could be made. “Common Sense” in particular was about reasons that the Colonies Should break away from British rule. He felt that men didn’t have as many rights as they needed, such as electing their ruler and ways to make the economy better.
