1. Describe the nature of the work and the working conditions. Bookkeeping, accounting, and auditing clerks work long hours to meet deadlines at the end of the fiscal year. This includes during tax time or when monthly or when yearly accounting audits are performed. These work conditions involve bookkeeping, accounting, and auditing clerks work in offices like many occupations involving a lot of paperwork. At times, bookkeepers who work for multiple firms may visit their client’s place of business. Often they work alones, but sometimes they work together with accountants, managers, and auditing clerks from other departments.

What are the physical demands of this career? Well, there’s not much in terms of physical demands except for some tasks.
One of those tasks involves working with computers and equipment. Another demand of this career is working long hours in offices. Another task involves making critical decisions that could affect how you doing in the office. Career Report 4. What is the opportunity for professional growth with this career? This career provides some good opportunity for growth. An example of this is there are a large number of job opening because of workers leaving this occupation. There is a lot of job openings not only because some people leave this occupation also, because of the fact that bookkeeping, accounting, and auditing clerks are in somewhat high demand. At least there jobs in accounting, just in case I want to pursue such a career. Also employment growth is declining by 8 percent.
