These things being considered, with the leaders and volunteers in place, they must be trained and educated in the areas specific to their position. Some of this can be done once the ministries are established and the new people can be trained and mentored by the current leaders. Formal training may also be required. These things are easily sorted out in the placement process. Part of the background check would include basic information about education and various qualifications. A person who drives a commercial vehicle for a living may be a great fit for the church bus ministry, the accountant may be a welcomed addition to the finance committee. A feeling of community will develop, an actual community, one where people will want to stay and build, returning the investment you have made in them. This process, when maintained will produce a return greater than addition, thus multiplication will be achieved. Dave Early, in discussing mentoring multipliers, sates we should do several things, some of them not already specifically discussed include, dreaming big, spending time with them as a group and alone as much as possible, and pushing them to pour their lives into others. The idea of dreaming big is one where we often feel a little uncomfortable, after all who are we to have such high hopes? We are nobody special, neither were the Disciples, yet God, used them through Jesus and the Holy Spirit. He will use us if we let Him, through the Twelve and Paul the world was changed by Jesus. Jesus’ work, as great as it is, would be of little usefulness if no one knew of it. We must share the vision of Jesus with all we can, without it the people will perish, as we are reminded in Proverbs 29:18. There should be an excitement and a momentum which comes from living with an expectancy of the great things God has in store for us. An excitement which naturally carries into the process of recruitment and educating the leaders of the church, the vision of Proverbs. With a steady diet of new people entering the church, which can be expected when the vision is ever present, the needed people, funds, and facilities to accomplish the vision of the church will be available, supplied by God’s grace and
