Sir Francis Bacon once stated “Revenge is a sort of savage justice”. What he means by this is that revenge is an action that if committed, could have bad implications. If one has been done wrong, one shouldn’t be the one to seek revenge on an offender. If it is a bad enough crime, one should let the law do its work and let it play out in court, says Bacon.
