Nick Carraway- he is the novels narrator, from Minnesota and educated at Yale, he moves to New York for learning the bond business. He is the neighbor of Jay Gatsby and the cousin of Daisy Buchanan. Jay Gatsby- the main character of the story. A man that is famous because of his fortune which nobody knows how he earned it and the party's he threw on Saturday nights. Later on we learn that he was a poor boy who happens to achieve a great chance and did criminal activities to earn money, and he does not uses his real name. He is in love with Daisy Buchanan who happens to be the cousin of his neighbor Nick Carraway. Daisy Buchanan- Nick's cousin and the woman Gatsby loves. They meet with Gatsby when they were young and Daisy promises to wait for
