Did you know that colonists arrived from Europe and founded “New College” later named Harvard University? There are many benefits to why college is worth it for graduates. Going to college can benefit people by making more money than non-graduates, and having better employment opportunities. Finally, students can learn interpersonal skills from college to interact with the outside world. Overall, college is worth the time rather than not going to college for the time being as an adult. One reason that people should consider going to college is that they can earn more money as college graduates. They can earn more money because they are more likely to be picked for jobs. This could be very helpful if they need a college degree for a certain job like being a teacher or a director of education of some sort. The author notes, “ There are plenty of careers you can choose from that don’t require a degree. But graduating college can open doors to certain career paths. This implies that college graduates can get certain career paths that actually need a college degree to get into the career people want to pursue. Some jobs could be good for having a college degree because they could have better pay than most jobs without needing a college degree. Additionally, college graduates could also need a college degree for the higher paying jobs that college students would be interested in like managers for industries and huge companies. This could help college graduates with needing to pay bigger bills or debt they are in too.
