Drunk Driving is something that truly puts fear in my heart. Every time I get in a car, I pray that a drunk driver would not be on the road while I am on it. It currently contributes to my fear of getting behind the wheel, even though I have a permit. Drunk Driving accidents still happen, despite the efforts of law enforcement. If I had an opportunity to make a law, I would make one that helps not just those who are sober and on the road but also those who are drunk driving. My law is drastic and could be hard for people to handle but I would ban alcohol altogether. They would not be allowed to be sold any where and all production would be halted. My parents currently don’t drink and they prove that alcohol is not a necessity to have a good time. People these days think that alcohol is required to have fun and that is not the case. The person who hit our car was not declared officially drunk but when I got out of the car I can tell. I have extended family members who drink at family gatherings so the symptoms were not hard to recognize.The only injury was neck pain which I still struggle with but the accident really shook me up.
