The American Dream has always been essential to the American culture. The American Dream is what drives each individual to never give up in order to be successful in life. Each individual has their own definition of this dream and they pursue it in many different ways. Most Americans strive for the American Dream of “Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” Although I believe in this as well, my own definition of the American Dream differs. My American Dream is that I hope to have equality in the workforce, a healthy family, and no crime or hate in our world. I also want to make sure that my parents, brothers, sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins are also staying happy and healthy. I want to be able to assure that each member of my family will have a reliable healthcare service no matter the circumstance. In order to achieve these goals, I am going to have to be successful in my job and make sure I am being the best I can be. The last part of my American Dream is that there is no hate or crime in our society. I want to be able to raise a family in a safe environment so in spite of this, I need to make sure my house, my kids’ school, and other everyday areas are safe. Although I cannot control any crime that goes on in our world, my ultimate dream is that one day, problems can be solved without the use of violence, drugs or hate. These aspects to my American dream all relate back to starting off as a successful businesswoman. If I can do that, I can make sure that my family is always healthy and that we will live in a safe environment where violence and crime is not apart of the everyday
