Irony Theme: Religion and Superstition. This scene is ironic and hysterical at the same time because it is apparent that Mark Twain is making fun of religion and portraying the religious people as a naïve sheep who are lost in the woods. This quote serves to illustrate that many people are often blind by their faith, which prohibits them from choosing what is real or not.
Within the reading of chapter four of Our Kids by Robert Putnam one key point of his argument is that it really matters where kids attend school and who they are attending school with. The overall growing class gap is extremely evident within the American school system. However, schools are not responsible for the creation of the opportunity gap because the gap already exists before schools are put into the picture. While this may be true, the schools that kids from affluent families are attending are significantly different than schools that children from poorer families are attending. This could be a product of the fact that affluent and poor families are usually not living in the same areas.

When people hear the word witch they might think of hexes, potions, broomsticks, wands, black cats, black magic, pointy hats, and covens. According to the History Channel’s “Bet You Didn’t Know: Witches” most of these stereotypes came from Western culture. They could also think of pop culture types of witches such as the ones in The Wizard of Oz, the Harry Potter series, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Hocus Pocus, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer; but those aren’t the only kinds of witches one would see in the world, all of that info is for a later time. This will be about a few aspects of Wicca and how a few of the stereotypes listed above is related to Wicca. Wicca is the practice of modern Witchcraft; some Wiccans prefer the word because “witch” has a bad rep; those Wiccans don’t want the negative vibes.

Animal abuse is a big part in determining a psychopath, even though not all psychopaths become serial killers, or even commit crimes. If a psychopath does, in fact, turn out to be a serial killer, when the FBI profiles them, one of the main things that they look for is people who abused animals when they were younger or, people who still abuse animals today. They do this because animal abuse is one of the most common things that serial killers share in common. Also, most psychopaths have this in common. The most central trait to the trickster figure portrayed, besides these, is the contrary use of his creative and destructive powers which speaks to the very message of ambiguity and liminality within the tradition of trickster mythology. Beyond the combination of opposite concepts, the trickster represents the chaos of all contrasting elements of the world which these tales attempt to
