Act Three, Scene Three opens up with Cassio explaining to Desdemona the incident that occurred in the bar. Cassio begs Desdemona to talk to Othello to get him his job and reputation back. Desdemona agrees to this knowing that Cassio is a good, but old friend to Othello. She promises Cassio that she will repeatedly bring the topic up until Othello gives him his job back.

When Othello and Iago enter, Cassio quickly leaves because of his embarrassment form the night before. Iago Quickly gives the statement- "Ha, I like not that"-- this scarring in Othello's mind. Desdemona speaks to Othello about Cassio, and Othello wanting to please his wife, agrees to see him, but is still wounded by the thoughts in his head.

When Othello enters, Iago notices
