Mission Statement Our restaurant, The Kind Flame, is a locally run hibachi restaurant in the city of Atlanta. Our main function as an organization is to source and prepare raw ingredients into meals in the welcoming, family-friendly environment we hope to create in our space. Most other hibachi restaurants in Atlanta are either small restaurants with a focus on creating budget meals or high end fine dining restaurants. There are very few options for a more middle ground dining experience where customers may be willing to pay more for higher quality ingredients. Through success at the restaurant level, we believe that The Kind Flame can expand into more markets and shift the expectations of customers to align with the mission and values of our restaurant. Therefore, our vision statement is “Our vision is to raise expectations of the dining industry through successfully spreading sizzle across our communities.” Our idea of spreading sizzle comes with success in all aspects of our restaurant. Spreading sizzle is the expansion of our restaurants in Atlanta into new locations such as Buckhead, Virginia Highlands, and Downtown. By expanding our firm, we can introduce more members of the community to a dining experience centered around transparency in their meals. Spreading sizzle is about donating meals to charities so everyone in Atlanta has a full belly of healthy ingredients no matter their income level. Spreading sizzle is our accommodating menu where people from every background and dietary restrictions can dine together around the same grill. Spreading sizzle is paying our employees livable wages so they can provide for their families’ goals, both current and future. We believe our vision statement captures that we don’t want our transparent practices of sourcing, fair wages, and accessibility to be confined to only our restaurants, but that through the success of spreading our sizzle, the entire industry will have no choice but to follow our lead.
