In the article “Does Anyone Collect Old Email?” by Peter Funt, he argues that hard copies are the best way for people to preserve their memories by using emotion to appeal to the reader. Funt conveys emotion to the reader by stating “Besides, personal messages are so much more meaningful when presented in the hand of the sender.”(7). Peter Funt conveys emotion to the reader when he mentions that personal messages are way more meaningful when presented in the hand of the sender, it can make the reader remember that same feeling from when someone in their life when someone has given them a personal message but also by using words in his argument like meaningful to convey emotion to the reader because someone has something meaningful it is not digital, it is a photo or object that someone has that has a special meaning to the specific person to convey emotion to the audience.
