(Night of the long knives) Hitler orders the assassination of the SA branch in operation hummingbird also known as the night of the long knives. Operation HummingBird goes by many names such as The Night of the Long Knives, and The blood purge. The blood purge was an event where Adolf Hitler ordered the assassination of the other nazi leaders.
