Can you imagine yourself being relative to someone who lived thousands of years ago? A man named Ötzi who was discovered who was found dead in the mountains of germany by two innocent hikers 24 years ago. After his body was taken to a lab they discovered many interesting things that confused many archaeologists. They even had to go back and change textbooks! SInce then they don’t what clues to the past he might reveal. Today, after much researching and looking for the right DNA they find that out of 3,700 people 19 of them share actuall common ancestor with the iceman. Who knows who else in the world could be related to Ötzi. Even after 5,300 hundreds years he still has 19 living relatives. When it comes to frozen mummies Ötzi is world famous for helping us uncover and solve. They aren’t full blood related but they had the same genetic mutation with the iceman. They share a common ancestor that had lived up to 10,000 to 12,000 years ago! …show more content…

You never know if you could be related to Ötzi. The 19 lucky men who have a common ancestor with Ötzi don’t know that they have a relation with the iceman. In conclusion, I have learned so much doing this essay at first i didn’t even know who in the world Ötzi the iceman was now I feel like an expert all thanks to all the research I’ve
