The life of Noah is said to take place around c. 2000 BC. Noah was the son of Lamech, and the tenth generation in descent from Adam. In an evil and wicked world, the Bible tells us that Noah was a righteous man and the only follower God had left. Over and over again in the accounts of Noah’s life the Bible says “Noah did everything just as God had commanded.”(Genesis 7:5)
