This material makes references in Chapter 4 when it is going to talk about the French and Indian War. In Europe this is known as the Seven years’ War; however, both named mean the same thing. The rivalry between Britain and French are too famous that they made an imperial showdown. This was a Global war, and both side have allies from the Indian tribes. The spark of the war start when they dispute the colonist in the Ohio River Valley.
The french and indian war started out in the Ohio River Valley. The french were in a fur trade, were the trade fur. But the british wanted not to just share the fur trade ,but own it. Which made the french furious, because they founded the fur trade and they were not just going to give it up that fast. So once they found this out, the war began.
The European countries fought to prevent France from taking over spain and its colonies. The war was fought between 1702 to 1713. France and Britain were fighting to control colonies in a number of areas and France loss control of Acadia and Britain took control of Acadia and two other Caribbean islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique. In 1713 the two sides negotiated with a peace treaty at Utrecht in the Netherlands. They treated and each side agreed to give back some colonies that had been captured in the war.

A precipitating factor would be that the colonists still valued English protection and feared the Catholic colony of New France who were fighting for fur trade. While the English colonies were preoccupied with the Glorious Revolution, French forces of the fur trade were seen attacking New York and New England. This developed into what is known as King William's War, which illustrated the conflict against France in Europe. It was caused by colonial outgrowth and lasted until 1697. The conflict is seen as a distinguishing mark that along with the English royal government there also came the weight of military security.
This War lasted a whopping 2 years and 8 months from june 1812- February 1815. Some peace negotiations started in 1814. This War was fought in many places like the U.S., Canada, and the high seas. The British, the Canadians, the Americans, and the Native Americans all took part in this war while everybody with the exception of America was under the British control. For the logically inclined, irrational behavior can be frustrating to read. So the people revolted to stop their control but the French fought back so the people had to start a war against France to get there freedom, because they had to listen to what they said. And because of their anger to the France the war that lasted eight years took place. At the end of the line the Vietnamese finally took back there control of their country after a century of suffering that they had to deal with. And because of the war they also lost some people 3,420 killed and 5,300 in the France tropes. And more lives were lost by the Vietnamese.
