During 1754 through 1763 the French And Indian War was fought. This war was the French against Great Britain. They were fighting for territory and control. By the time the war ended the French had lost Canada and Great Britain had gained control over Canada. In addition Great Britain was left with a lot of bills and because of this created the Stamp Act and the Quartering Act.

They took over and gained a lot of land in the colonies, which were originally owned by the French. But they had borrowed a huge amount of money to help fund the war.
British now had control of a piece of New France which is what Canada was called when French had control of it. The war and the treaty which lead to Britain’s control of Acadia would later on help Britain take over North America and create a stable country years
The French and Indian war was a seven year war between England and the American colonies and some of the Indians in North America. When the war was over, the French lost control of Canada. The Indians that had been threatening the Americans that lived there were defeated. When the war was only supposed to be against the English and the American Colonists and some of the Indians in North America it changed to become a world war. The British spent a lot of money fighting the war and the colonists had been part of it.
The French Revolution was one of the most significant wars that changed France’s history. The Revolution started in 1789 and ended in 1799 and was mainly initiated by the conditions affecting the Third Estate. Louis XVI was predominately the king during this time period but little did he know that an uprising among the peasants was happening. The French Revolution was caused by the Enlightenment ideas because of the American Revolution, the knowledge of rights, and the questioning of France’s government. The American Revolution was basically the “fire” that ignited the change the Third Estate wanted to see in their country.
The French and Indian War, otherwise known as The Seven Years’ War, was fought between the French and British colonies, along with their Native American allies. The British believed that the French were settling to close to their colonies. They wanted to shove them out of their territory. The British colonies gained Canadian territory from the French at the peace conference.
The French and Indian War started from problem in North America amongst French and British as well as the colonist. They all wanted to extend the country border, for their own conscience upon the Ohio River Valley. The French had built forts around the Ohio River Valley. Great Britain controlled the 13 states up to the Appalachian Mountains, yet past lay New France, a spread-out, insufficiently settled area that extended from Louisiana through the Mississippi Valley and Great Lakes to Canada. George Washington wanted to retreat the French from their territories, but were outnumbered and overpowered by the French.
The presence of the political system, absolutism in which a single person rules in the form of a national monarchy, began to grow because of the religious wars that took place after the Protestant Reformation in the 16th and 17th centuries. This was the system enforced in France up until the 18th century when a burst of knowledge, known as the Enlightenment arose and people began to challenge the social, political and economic foundations of their country. The morale and newfound information from this led to the French Revolution in which the middle and lower classes of France rose up against the absolute ruler, King Louis XVI, was a turning point in history, causing major changes to not only the people of France but also many other nations and regions around the globe. A major downside of the revolution was the abundance of hypocrisy seen as they fought for liberty, equality, and fraternity but in the process violated each and everyone of them.
One of these wars, the French and Indian War, was between the American colonists and the French Canadians. This war had a huge impact on Britain’s economy because the British government had to spend large sums of money to pay for reinforcements in the colonies (Price 1). In the mid-1700s, the French and the British colonists in America were fighting over a piece land that would help them control their settlements more efficiently and give them an advantage in the precious fur trade. This land was called the Ohio River Valley.
Some of the grievances that precipitated the French Revolution were fiscal deficits of the country and tax hikes, terrible leadership, and social inequalities. First of all, the country found itself in serious debt since half of its budget had been parceled out to support the American war. France did not have a national bank to help with loans as did Britain. The French government obtained its loans from early payments provided by tax collectors, as well as money from high-interest private businesses like Swiss banks, and government allowances. Even tax collection was not conducted equitably.

In the past, there were many people around the world fighting in different revolutions or social movements. Nowadays we can enjoy all these privileges. One of the first, and more important movements was the French Revolution.
One of the topics I would like to research is the French Revolution, I will specifically look at the impact of the French Revolution on France. This is a topic that has interested me for a period of time, and it started way back when I first heard the famous saying “Let them eat cake”, supposedly said by Marie Antionette, when she heard that the poor peasants from France which fueled the French Revolution. Therefore, I decided to conduct some research on it. After understanding a little more about the topic, I decided that I wanted to know more about the causes of the revolution and even go into how it ties in with America. The French Revolution lasted from 1789 to 1799, there were many causes that contributed to the Revolution.
