What Were The Causes Of The Korean War 1950-1953

The tensions between the superpowers eventually created a war, the Korean War, 1950-1953; this began when Stalin started to support North Korea against South Korea. This caused for Truman to back up South Korea and ordered General MacArthur to retake South Korea. It wasn’t until the new President Eisenhower and the current leader at the time, of North Korea declared a cease-fire only after threatened to use nuclear weapons in 1953: neither side had won. As well as during this time, Stalin had died and a new Kremlin came to power Nikita Khrushchev, made ill decision and disgraced Marxism. Kennedy was afraid the Soviet Union would attack the United States and he sent missiles to surround Cuba; this is known as the Cuban Missile of 1962.
