During the Ottoman and Mughal empires the states had strong bonds in many parts of the rule but depending on the empire there was also some big differences in how they handled things such as tolerance to other religions and military. As the empires grew they developed different way of dealing with and accepting other religions. Between the two their tactics for developing military were quite different in the fact of who they enrolled and how members were chosen. They both brought in the traditions of the Steppe from Turkish and Mongol peoples. The two grew similarly in how they used previous empires as the basis for their empire. Between the Ottoman and Mughal empires there were many strong similarities in their forms of government and ideas. The two empires both developed a quite strong central government helping to spread empire much farther and be able to take over more lands and groups of people with their power. The main difference between the two empires was the treatment of outside religions. Another big difference would be how they developed their militaries and army forces. In the Ottoman empire there were Ghazi’s who were muslim religious warriors who put together and produced what were called Slave Troops. They got christian boys and breed them to convert to islam, learn tunics, and get special training in order to become Janissaries otherwise known as New Troops, spreading the empire. The Mughal empire was religiously tolerant under the rule of Akbar who was the grandson of Bubar. This allowed the reduction of tensions between the Hindu and Muslim communities in India rather than imposing Islam they encouraged a religion the Divine Faith bringing attention on the emperor as a common ruler to all religions and parts of the
