She even started working with a female singer on the musical film about an all girls musical group. She, however, did not live long enough to see the comeback of the film.
She, later on, died at the age of 48 at a Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles. She had been there at a Grammy party organized by her longtime music producer Clive Davis. An autopsy report from the pathologist stated that her death was caused by accidental drowning. She had cocaine in her system which had caused the development of a chronic heart disease. It was unclear what exactly triggered her to drown in the bathtub but a drug overdose was not ruled out.
Conclusion
In conclusion, we can clearly state that Whitney lived a very glamorous but also a very reckless life. She had the talent but could not find a way to deal with her personal problems the best way possible. She got involved with toxic people who did more harm than good to her. If only she could have hung out with the right crowd and married the right person then maybe her life would have taken a different turn
