Plethora of readers thought that F. Scott Fitzgerald was an interesting writing who created extremely well written novels. Fitzgerald inspired readers to go out and live life to the fullest no matter what is going on in life. Francis Scott Key was his name given to him by his parents when he was born on September 24, 1896 (bio.1). Fitzgerald had a plethora of reasons on why he wrote his novels that he created. His life was extremely entertaining which influenced his writings tremendously.
Fitzgerald based his novels off of his own life. For example, "The Great Gatsby" the main character was in the Marines and fought in World War I which is what Fitzgerald went through. Fitzgerald dropped out of school at the age of eighteen and went to the Marines (bio. 1). With fear of dying, Fitzgerald wrote a novel to fulfill his literary dreams (bio. 1). Fitzgerald was never deployed so he created even more novels and he also met a young lady by the name Zelda Sayre (bio. 1). She represents Daisy in "The Great Gatsby" because Gatsby met Daisy for instance fell in love with her at first sight (bio. 1).

He also makes his characters so that they are trying to get their time back and are constantly seeing events happen that have to do with some sort of time. For example, in "The Great Gatsby" Jay Gatsby runs into a clock which is what he was trying to get back.
