We all wonder how our lives will turn out in the end. For Macbeth, this doesn 't come easily. In the story Macbeth by William Shakespeare, Macbeth’s destiny comes by fate rather than free will due to his belief of invincibility, his actions and how he goes about dealing with things throughout the story.

In Act IV, Scene i, Macbeth goes to the witches for prophecies. From the prophecies he had received, Macbeth had started to believed that he was invincible. “Be bloody, bold, and resolute! Laugh to scorn/ The pow’r of man, for none of woman born/ Shall harm Macbeth” (79-81). After this was said, Macbeth believes he has no one to fear, not even Macduff.
