This fictitious, anonymously, written Dutch novel was first published in 2006 and it is assertedly an autobiography that records the event of an Irish advertising executive who does some soul-searching. Considering the conflict that some would feel while being faced with the ending of the book, they can still praise Diary of an Oxygen Thief for containing just the right amount of expected and unexpected content that kept the audience reading. With regards to the theme that was stated previously (“hurt people hurt people”), the entire novel, including the ending of Diary of an Oxygen Thief, revolves around this concept, specifically when the author states “My logic went as follows: If someone hurts you then you automatically want revenge.
