Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare This is a play about two families and their hatred for each other and how it killed Romeo and Juliet. The power of hatred was more of an influence on Romeo and Juliet's death. The fighting and hatred the two families have for each other is the reason why Romeo and Juliet died. This is why fate killed them with the love they had for each other. hatred is the reason why Romeo and Juliet died because their family's fighting made fate kill them with their love for each other for example in the text it states " Where be these enemies? Capulet! Montague! See what a scourge is laid upon your hate, That heaven finds means to kill your joys with love. And I for winking at your discords too Have lost a brace of kinsmen.
