Many individuals are able to succeed because they are willing to fight for what they want. Doing this they are shoulding perseverance. Perseverance in other words means to not give up. The novel “Call of the Wild” Buck shows perseverance by not giving up his leadership throughout the book when he got his new owners and new sled dog teammates. Even though he had to fight to keep his leadership, Buck never lost the leadership.

Before I even stepped into my high school as an official freshman I knew I was going to be a part of my school one way or the other. I made it a goal to be a part of some type of extra-curricular project all four years. This goal I know I have succeeded in because I have been a part of the following extra- curricular projects: three years of SWAT club, four years of Raider Riot, and three varsity sports. All of these extra- curricular projects have made my high school career not only interesting but also made me a better person in the long run. One of the only clubs I was able to be a part of in high school was the SWAT club.
Despite facing significant obstacles and setbacks, Washington continued to serve his country and eventually became one of its most revered figures. Similarly, in my own life, I have faced numerous challenges and obstacles, both personal and professional, that have made it difficult for me to achieve my goals. However, I have learned that it is important to persevere and to never give up in the face of adversity. For most people, aspirations and dreams are a part of growing up. For a certain boy in the early 1700’s, his dream was to become a sailor. Even though that specific dream never came true, he diligently worked at everything he came in contact with, whether he liked it or not. That diligence eventually paid off, making him successful at everything he did. This boy was Benjamin Franklin, and his perseverance, hard work, and ingenuity made him one of the most famous Founding Fathers of our country.
I am proud of this accomplishment and enjoy playing this role on my team very much. Within my two high school years I have found that I have a high work ethic and enthusiasm in my work. I am proud at where I stand in my classes with the high grades that I achieve. I have a 4.0 GPA and a clean disciplinary record.
Throughout my high school career, I was forced into many situations where I was challenged to connect with my peers and serve as a role model for future students. Whether it be my involvement in the school marching band, or helping students in community tutoring sessions, I have always made it my goal to better the people around me through my own efforts. Throughout my high school career, I have put forth my best effort to connect with my peers, transform individuals, and make a difference in my community. Joining the school marching band at the beginning of my freshman year of high school was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
In fourth grade, my grade school made us conduct a stewardship project. I chose to do a drive for the Pregnancy Assistant Center. Students could donate money or diapers. I was able to give the Pregnancy Assistance Center 34 packages of diapers and $1100. These are just a few ways I have committed myself to stewardship.

Being a vice captain, I played an important role in addressing and motivating students, advising and helping them, and earning points for my group by participating in many competitions alone or in a team. I also served as the student voice of the school to a variety of external and internal constituents. The student council served as a bridge between the students and the school heads and administration.
