Romeo and Juliet had many events leading up to their deaths. Other than events, people are to blame for the deaths of many. Three suspects would be Friar Laurence, Lord Capulet, and Romeo. Each of them have at least one thing for the cause, and the effect was death. If you looked closely one of them had the most impact. Who do you think caused the death of a pair of star-crossed lovers? Friar Laurence was a main part of Romeo and even Juliet's life. On page 776 number 87, Romeo was telling him how he wanted to marry the wonderful Juliet. Friar never stopped him, or told him that it wasn’t a good idea. He told Romeo, “O she knew well, Thy love did read by rote, that could not spell. But come, young waverer, come go with me. In one respect I’ll thy assistant be; .” Second reason why, was Friar Laurence gave Juliet poison and didn't stop her either. Then, Laurence decided to give the letter to Friar John to send to Romeo. Since the families were always fighting, it didn’t make the situation better, Lord Capulet was always on a rampage when Juliet did something. Romeo and Juliet kept it a secret that they were married. If it ever got out her father would have killed Romeo. Lord Capulet is to blame because he pressured her to marry Paris, and she didn’t want to.
