Explain Who Is To Blame For Romeo And Juliet's Death

Many wonder who should truly be blamed for Romeo and Juliet's death. Could it have been the fact that both of their parents refused to let them see each other which cause this or could it have been Friar Lawrence's or the Nurse's fault for persuading and assisting what they knew would end with trouble. Many describe their deaths as an inevitable event that just couldn't be avoided but couldn't it have? Looking back and reading, it is believed that the Friar had the most influence on both Romeo and Juliet causing their deaths. It was even him who suggested that Juliet wait for Romeo in the tomb, which leads to Romeo killing himself since he supposedly believes that Juliet is dead. In Act 5 Scene 3, Romeo forces himself into Juliet's tomb and finds her 'corpse'. Unfortunately thinking she is dead, he drinks the poison killing himself. In Act 5, Scene 2, Friar Lawrence asks Friar John if he was able to send the letter to Romeo about the plan although the letter unfortunately can't be sent in time. Why not just tell Romeo in person instead of risking the plan by attempting to send a letter to him? In Act 5 Scene 3, after finding out what has happened he attempts to have Juliet run away with him after they find Romeo's dead body. Why? To cover up the fact that he in some sort killed Romeo? In Act 5 Scene 2, think back to right before Juliet refused to flee with Lawrence, what could have been going through his head. Was he scared the prince might punish him for causing Romeo and Paris' death or was he wondering what Juliet was planning to do after she found Romeo dead? There had to be a reason he wanted Juliet to run away with him. Finally accepting the fact that Juliet wouldn't leave with him, he decides to run by himself, probably knowing that the Prince would come looking for whoever caused all this
