Which is the better pet: cat or dog? Cats are the best pets for many reasons. Cats are independent animals that do not need much care. Dogs are very energetic and love to play. Dogs can fetch balls and other toys. Dogs will greet you at the door everyday when you come home, and this will put a smile on your face (Castillo).
