The Holocaust was the mass murder of around six million Jewish people and millions of people from other groups over the course of a mere 12 years. A time of intense hate that occured because of anti-semitism and hate towards other minority groups was being ingrained into the people of Germany for years. Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party created the Holocaust; moreover, their control over Germany as well as their actions were among the primary reasons World War 2 (
