Islam was created by Muhammad through Allah. At first it was a very hated concept.Many years later it would flourish into a loved religion and it would spread very fast.Three of the main reasons that Islam spread were all the merchants and their trade,it’s great and powerful army,and the way how it treated the conquered people differently.The main reason that Islam spread fast was because of their trade routes.

Initially,Islam was expanded by merchant trade and how all the routes intercepted at its birthplace where it was most practiced.There were many things that were traded in their holy city of Mecca.They traded expensive perfumes.rich incense,copper,grain,and ivory.Mecca was the center of all of this it had the holy shrine in which all Muslims traveled to as one of the 5 Pillars and worshipped Allah.Document A states “First it was at the crossroads of the lucrative caravan trade.Vast camel trains bearing perfumes,precious metals,incense,and silk filed through town….”.This clarifies that all of the trade routes and all the people coming to trade in Mecca in some ways saw Islam being practiced and then were impacted and became Muslims themselves.The trade was one of the most important reasons Islam became what it is today. …show more content…

Second,the army of Islam and all of it’s soldiers were very skilled in their area and they had many good weapons to fight off their enemies.The way that they fought was one of the reasons why they were powerful because they defeated and conquered all the people that were terrorizing Muslims for their religions.They were compared to the Romans who captured people just because they were Christians.These people were fighting for their freedom and religion which also impacts a huge amount of people and how they too, changed their religion.To the other people of these religions the brave,victorious,and many were in awe by how the people were defending their beliefs and
