Sparta was a very strong city. Sparta was known as a warrior society. At a very you age of six or seven, boys were taken away from their families to learn to become warriors and join the military. The strengths of education in Sparta did now outweigh the weaknesses because they were only taught to read, write, and fight, any other type of education was banned, the boys were basically starved, and they were taught to steal. First of all, the only form of education that they were allowed to learn was to read and write. Any other form of education was banned. Reading and writing were only taught for practical reasons. But, not all Spartan boys knee how to read or write. So reading and writing was considered unstable for a Spartan soilder. They
