Do most people know how the North won the Civil War? It is an important factor that changed American history forever. During the Civil War they had sectionalism, life style, slavey and battles. Many people died for now America. During the Civil War, one time the North and South divided because of slavery. So they had boundary line. It is called a sectionalism. First, they fought for slavery. The North didn't want slavery, but the South did want slavey. Because, the North diverse economy based on industry and agriculture. But the South economy based on agriculture. Also the North had many factory, but the South had many farm, so they need slaves. First the battle of Antietam was in a Maryland at 1862 September 16-18, George B. McClellan, and Robert E. Lee was main person in this Lee2 battle, and the battle of Antietam was the bloodiest day, and five thousand people died for this battle. The war of Shiloh was in Tennessee at 1862 April 6-7, Don Carlos Buell, Albert Sidney Johnston, Ulysses S. Grant, and P.G.T Beauregard was important person on this war, and 1754 soldiers killed of this war, and it was the bloodiest battle Secondly, the battle of Gettysburg was in a Pennsylvania at 1863 at July 1-3, it was also bloodiest battle, and 5,100 people were killed. The battle of Appomattox was in Virginia at1865 April 9. Lately many soldiers and volunteers were died for this battle.
