Maya Angelou is an american writer, writing for her dreams to come true. She has once said, ''I've learned you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back." Her saying this, I think it means that you are always getting items from people and never giving them anything. Giving is more generous and than just getting and forgetting. This happens in everyone's life. It could happen when their a child, teen, or an adult. My friend Eli gave his friend a present for coming to his party for when we were six. It was Eli's birthday and the kid never gave him a present back. He never said sorry, and Eli gave up his favorite toy to give him it. He didn't have such a great birthday after that
