Upon entering school, you see the school banners that promote school spirit, the students that have undeniably procrastinated, and the sports that are immensely difficult to take part in. This is exactly what the establishment of educational institutions are all about: an interactive learning environment for children and adolescents. What if one day schools become bombarded with corporational slogans? Would the schools still be considered a learning environment or a business firm? From a company’s perspective, one can view the mutualistic relationship that can result in corporate sponsorship of schools. Students tend to take advantage of the school’s supplies and often mistreat them, since it is not one of their personal belongings. Textbooks, for example, are widely available in all schools, however, not in good condition. Sponsorships can assist. Let’s say hypothetically that the California Republican Party is willing to sponsor for new history textbooks. There are thousands of kids and textbooks costs nearly 200$ each. Although this seems beneficial because students are getting access to new learning resources, the idea of a political group willingly giving their funds to help a school -without something in return- does not seem likely. If anything, the party may be attempting to persuade these young adolescents to favor their beliefs while teaching them the corruptions of politics. Schools should be kept as a friendly learning environment, not a place where people brainwash students into executing with demands. To wrap, sponsorships especially political ones will negatively influence
