Guns kill people. When people obtain a gun they have the power to end a life. Many people argue “Well it's not the gun, its the person.” Although that is correct, it is the power they contain when possessing a firearm. Our Government has been halted by this issue because Constitutionalists think it's unconstitutional to control guns. This uncontrollable power has caused too much sorrow and loss in our country with the prevalent mass shootings in our country. Citizens of our free country are using their 2nd Amendment right to end lives of others who hold the same rights. Regular citizens can buy this power with ease at a local Walmart. The right to bear arms has been force-fed into the government's mouths to stop gun control by everyday citizens, but stricter gun laws are what we need to stop the ease of obtaining guns and the prevalence of mass shootings and crime in our country.

This power and freedom have caused other people to lose their freedom. With the prevalence of mass shootings in our free country, we need to enact tough, strict laws on guns to prevent any of this from happening again. The occurrence of these mass shootings relates on how fast it takes to possess a firearm. Stricter laws may increase the amount of time it takes to buy a gun. Although, 2nd Amendment activists believe that gun control is unconstitutional, thus delaying Congress to enact any laws. This delay could cause lives and too much trouble in our country. Stricter gun laws are needed in our free country to prevent the recurrent mass shootings and crimes, this will also impact the time it takes to obtain a gun, but everyday citizens are stopping our government from doing anything because of the interpretation of the 2nd Amendment. Guns do kill
