Why I Believe In The Ministry Of Passport Camps

When trying to define #WorkPassport words won’t ever compare to the most exhilarating summer. But these are some reasons why I believe in this ministry. Passport camps is an organization that empowers students to put their beliefs in action. This is where you as a member of staff can facilitate and watch God at work! As a part of staff you get to experience Christ in many different ways; you can see God working throughout the community. You are presented with opportunities to minister as well as get ministered to. The community of believers that passport facilities has no parallel. It's one of love and acceptance of all people, and it's a beautiful thing to be a part of. But don’t forget this a summer camp, full days of laughter and excitement are in store. You are there with friends old and new, all preparing for the same adrenaline filled summer. Each team building activity or energizer takes you one step closer to the top. The drop is the first session of camp. You never thought you would be here, but yet here you are. Preaching, leading a bible study, or just ministering in unique ways. That first session is over in the blink of an eye. With it comes it comes the corkscrews. The corkscrew, is the chaos which is inevitable. We are all human, things will never be perfect. Someone will forget their notes, an instrument could go out of tune, the power could go out, or anything else. The key is to just remember that God is in control and this is ministry in action. Before you know it the chaos will have passed and you are in loops. The loops, or the ups and downs of life at camp. Life continues outside of the media Sabbath campers are asked to take. This is where God will challenge you, push you outside of your comfort zone with ministry. Being ready to put your faith in action
