In History 1111, it teaches a broad introduction to the development of the United States. From the casualty losses to major expansion, the United States has developed World History with each major aspect of important, historical events. In this course I have learned not only important events, but how to analyze them and how they affect our world today. History is a great topic because as we acknowledge past events, it influences the future. Events really mold the culture and society that everyone lives in.
Prior to this class, I was unaware of the knowledge on websites, media, and further informational outlets to aid me in researching political events, interest groups and legislation, and thus providing me a more well rounded viewpoint. Now with my knowledge of the government system, informational outlets, and many other things, I can exercise my rights to change the community and country; I believe the familiarity with our systems obtained in this class, it will be easy to find and participate in political events around me and make a
Before taking political science, I had a relatively little interest in politics. Since taking the course, however, my understanding, as well as interest in political topics has increased. I have become more aware of political topics, and their bases in history. Previously, I had watched the presidential debates, but only those. Since then I have taken an interest in local elections, alongside presidential primaries.
If the audience can 't relate to my writing, they will not understand my intended purpose. I will need to be sure to use facts from the article to support the ideas I present. Also, showing how age isn 't a factor while taking a class may pose a challenge. I would like my audience to understand that whether you are fresh out of high school or going back to school after 20 years, the same obstacles are in the way. No matter your age, it’s still a difficult feeling to think you are prepared to start a class and realize things are much harder than expected.
