OUCH! I strongly disagree. Recently school principals banned dodge ball at schools in Elk ton, Maryland. They banned it because the teachers thought it was violent and inappropriate. The principals banned it by taking it off the curriculum.
However, the true nature of salsa, again, focuses on isolation of the hips, shoulders, and feet. No matter what context, the most important aspect of the salsa is to match the movements with the music. The music and rhythm of salsa is frequently very upbeat and lively. “The typical salsa band today features a rhythm section of bass, piano, congas, bongos, and timbales, a horn section of variable size, and one or more singers.”
Marching band is physically tiring as well. After only a practice, “more than 95 percent of surveyed band members reported muscle soreness or stiffness…” and “more than 38 percent said they had suffered an injury as a direct result of participating in marching band”. (ACSM news) If this does not prove that it is physically challenging to one’s body then think

“You might make it to the top, but if you are doing what you love, there is much more not happiness there than being rich or famous.” - Tony Hawk. Skateboarding is a really fun sport, but it happens to be very hard but like Tony Hawk said You might not make it to the top, but if you are doing what you love, there is much more happiness. In my case I feel like the one who is having the most fun is the best skateboarder.

Turning Around the Topic: Sport or Not? When you hear the word ‘sport’, you probably think of many things in your mind like soccer, football, softball, and even cheerleading but do you think of dance? One of the most common debates among dancers is whether or not dance should be considered a sport. If we’re being honest, dance doesn't even get close to the amount of credit it deserves.

I’ve been literate in music for ten years. Just like I can communicate with people by talking, I can communicate with them through music. It is easy to be literate in music even if you don’t know how to read music notes. Snapping your fingers, tapping your feet or swaying your body is a form of dance and communication. It means that you can feel the music, which is communication between your brain and your body.
There are many other aspects of dance then just learning the “moves”. A dancer must have well trained technique, flexibility, muscular body, know terminology, memorize steps and so much more. There are so many important aspects of dance most people do not realize. If dance was given more publicity, more people would view it as a

I have always had a burning passion for dance since I was a young girl. My first time on a stage, I was immediately hooked. The overpowering feeling of a crowd of people watching me as I do what I love, is a feeling I have always admired. Dance has developed my character and personality in many different ways. I have been taught responsibility, discipline, integrity and much more.
Boom, bang, pow! Boxing was all I ever thought about as a child. I would dream, eat, and sleep boxing. Though I was a little shrimp weighing in only 75 pounds, I had a very big heart, which gave me the drive to keep on pushing forward. Everyone around me seemed like giants, but that did not stop me from doing what I love.
