Food access has been a problem to the world but especially in developing countries. Many people and families around the world are struggling to get food for their loved ones or themselves. Children go to work at a very young age to get money and use that money to help their parents get food for their families. There are many reasons that cause the food access become really hard for people. Climate changes, food prices rising, poverty and overpopulation are some of the main reasons why it is hard for people get access to food. Agriculture depends on the climate and the weather conditions for their production. In the past year, the global climate changes drastically which affect the agriculture business. Global warming is creating heat waves around the globe. These heat waves creating the worst droughts across the globe. Most crops grow great in warm weather but when it is too warm they could grow faster than normal or they could die and dry out because of the drought. Heat waves also affect on …show more content…

The population reached seven billions in 2011 and it will keep on rising from there. The population grow so rapidly over the past years that the demand for food rises. Most of this population grow happens in Asia and Africa countries which is also where most of poverty happens. “Demand for food is projected to double by 2030 and 20 percent of that increase is attributed to population growth” (prb). Food does not get to contributes evenly around the world and causes some countries left out. According to the United Nation, the population will increase 34% by 2050 and in order to feed that much amount of people in the world, the food production must increase by 70% (ibtimes). Food production must increase in millions of tons to able to feed the population. Cereal production must increase about 900 millions and meat productions need to increase about 200 millions
