Why Is It Important To Pursue Planetary Exploration?

What would it take to continue our planetary exploration agenda? The values behind the space exploration program in the United States is undermined due to the funding required to maintain the program. The cause of this relates to the poor budgeting for the programs, work migrating from a public agency to private agencies, and finally declining enthusiasm in students becoming future researchers. A unique solution to address this concern would be to explore how our funds are being divided up between the areas of education and the aerospace to better manage them. Understanding these issues will allow us to preserve our drive in both the present and future in planetary exploration. I have chosen to write about this topic because it relates to a developing passion that I acquired as a child growing up, and watching the launch missions sending our astronauts into space. As a result, I grew up wanting to play a part in the United States government in furthering our cause for space exploration. According to Chandra (2016) “NASA relies on upon it's temporary workers to convey an abnormal state of wellbeing. A private venture relies on upon itself to give an abnormal state of wellbeing. The structure of a private venture is more suited to the try of conveying wayfarers into space”. As a result, I can see NASA tends to depend on government funding to further their program, but when they run into setbacks they receive little to no funding for their programs. Therefore, I understand NASA has found itself, cutting back on both their projects and employees resulting in both migrating to the private sector. Consequently, I see this concern diminishing the desire in future students to pursue working for
