Unfortunately, there are times when you think you have to lie to do the right thing. Lying is not condone, but there are times when a white lie is needed to get by. For example working as a street medic, there are times when you have to tell a critical patient that they are okay and going to be alright to try and institute some sort of hope in them to keep going. Although it is wrong to lie sometimes. When is lying acceptable: sometimes, always, or never? Lying can protect others, it might get you out of difficult situations, however lying can hurt others and even yourself.

An example of this is when you tell your friend that you like her new dress but you really don't like it but you have to lie because you don't want to hurt your friends feelings.
