Three historical people that I admired were Martin Luther King, Michelle Obama, and Lupita Nyong’o. I chose Martin Luther King because most likely we wouldn’t be able to have the same rights as Caucasian people if it wasn’t for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. speaking out. People wanted to destroy Dr. King but he kept his faith and now his name will forever live on. Michelle Obama is a role model for many young women, and older women as well. She was the first lady, President Barack Obama’s wife. She’s very intelligent and she carry herself well like a lady should. I’ve been procrastinating ever since I could remember. I would get things done at the last minute and then get stressed out because I’m putting too much weight on myself. I should start as soon as I get an assignment so therefore I wouldn’t be stressed about it when it’s almost time for me to turn it in. Being overly sensitive has a huge effect on me. For, instance if someone was to tell me no I would get upset because growing up, I was used to getting everything I wanted. Two things that I would maintain about myself is being motivated and determined. I was motivated to come to college so I could be have a better lifestyle than my parents. Now that I am in my junior year of college I am motivated and determined to graduate no matter what it takes, o came a long way these three years of college academically and mentally, college has helped me develop into a mature lady, despite the ups and downs I went through to get where I am now. I will continue to strive for the best, not only for myself or my family, but for my community as well. I want to make a difference in my community and give back to my community once I graduate
