Controlling the spread of infectious diseases through immunization is one of medicine 's most significant accomplishments. Vaccination programs are proven to be a cost-effective means of disease prevention that have saved millions from death. Medical providers play an important role in the promotion of vaccinations; they can promote vaccination by following the standards for Adult Immunization Practice which include a four-step process: ♦ Assess immunization of all patients at every clinical encounter. ♦ Strongly recommend to patients the vaccines that they need.
Childhood vaccinations have become one of the most effective ways in preventing transmittable diseases. However, parent concerns surrounding their effectiveness, risks, need and safety has sparked a number of individuals to refuse childhood vaccination for their children As a result, outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases continue to increase. With the surrounding controversy, this topic has become a very thought-provoking argument. Although some parents choose not to vaccinate their children, childhood vaccinations should be made mandatory because they protect children from deadly diseases, protect other children too young to be vaccinated or those who have compromised immune systems, and they are also safe and effective.
I will be writing about whether to vaccinate or not vaccinate your children. I will then give my own opinions about whether I am in favor of vaccinating or not vaccinating children. It is important to know whether you should vaccinate your children or not and how you should do it. I will be giving facts found from websites and cite the websites. I will be talking about one side and the other.
Vaccines have and always will be a huge topic. There are different reasons why people do become vaccinated, and there are also reasons of why some people do not believe in being vaccinated. As a medical assistant, we need to be respectful to all our patients. We are not to argue with our patients because of something we think they should have done. We can provide the patient with facts about what has been found about certain diseases and if there is a vaccine available for that disease.
Vaccination is a key factor in keeping communities safe from harmful diseases, especially those that can spread easily. However, pediatric immunization policy can be debated from an ethical perspective because it concerns the role of the government and families in maintaining the health of children. I will argue that the immunization requirements with exemptions for school entrance in Washington state are ethically required because they balance the role of the government in public health and personal autonomy in the most minimally intrusive way possible. Hendrix points out that pediatric vaccination, or the policies surrounding vaccination requirements for children, can “span several public health domains, including those of policymakers,
Taking Important Measures to Prevent the Spread of Infections Marie F. Alusma Chamberlain College of Nursing NR 224 Fundamentals October 4, 2015 Professor Aniekwe Taking Important Measures to Prevent the Spread of Infections There are many infections that are spreading from one person to another that could have been prevented if the public really take charge of their health when seeing unhealthy practices that could potentially harm their health status. The Joint Commission launched a program in March 2002 called Speak Up patient safety program that has resources through brochures, videos, podcast, and other materials to help patients promote their own safety by taking charge of their health care. Among the brochures available,
This high number of patients suffering from these ailments can be reduced if they received their disease related vaccination in the early age. This shows how mandatory vaccination is essential and the necessity of braving up to face the low risk of adverse
I feel vaccinations are very important for maintaining health, preventing the spread of whatever is going around, and are for the immune system’s ability to fight it. While maintaining health and the benefit of the immune system are similar, I assure you it will all make sense later. For now I truly wish you take the time to read this. I hope you find it very informative. First, vaccinations are important for maintaining your body’s overall health.
Required Immunity Mandatory vaccinations for children in public schools have been the center of much debate since laws were first developed to regulate immunization. Fears from parents about side effects and adverse reactions have steered many away from wanting to vaccinate their children despite the numerous infectious diseases they prevent. These debates have gotten in the way of progression in schools for preventing the spread of disease. To me, the risks of not vaccinating children are far greater than the risks of adverse reactions.
Many people may think that vaccination is a bad thing, that instead of preventing it causes illness, that is not natural. Natural or not, there are many reasons as to why we should vaccinate us and the younger generation. Most of the time children don’t like vaccination because it hurt, but is the responsibility of a parent to seek the wellbeing of his or her child. Vaccination it’s a preventive measure of various diseases. Unfortunately, things like the anti-vaccination movement, the misinformation on the Internet, and the believe that vaccination causes more damage than is worth, have led our society to think that it’s right not to vaccinate.
First, I am going to talk about the reasons that vaccinations in America should be required. The vaccinations are not just for the individual themselves. They are for the entire community because it prevents a mass disease to spread throughout the house, community, country, or even world. If you get a vaccination, there is less of a chance to spreading it onto other people.
A. Vaccines have become important tools in preventing previously destruct, widespread disease by significantly reducing baby infection rates. B. Protecting public health.when the children in your community
It is important for all people to be vaccinated to protect themselves from contracting communicable diseases, from spreading these diseases, and from the high cost of treating these preventable diseases. It would make sense to do so. No one wants to contract diseases, or be laid up if they can prevent it. Getting vaccinated will prevent anyone from spreading contracted diseases to others. It can also be very costly when trying to treating a communicable disease that could have been prevented with a vaccine.
Vaccinations When it comes to vaccinations, there are many different opinions on immunizing a child, especially when that child’s parent has a strong like or dislike towards vaccinating. Immunizations have existed for at least a thousand years and as technology advances more, there are new vaccines being designed to help protect our children from contracting contagious and sometimes deadly diseases, such as Bordetella pertussis, polio, and even influenza. For decades, all 50 states have required that parents vaccinate their children against various diseases, including polio and measles, as a prerequisite to enrolling them in public schools (Ciolli, 2008). Enrollment in public school requires up to date vaccinations in order to protect the children and even the adults from contracting and spreading a disease, possibly causing an epidemic.
These are the most important reasons in my opinion that all people should be vaccinated. Disease, what is a disease? A disease is either a bacterial or viral infection that can be spread from person to person. If you are vaccinated for that particular disease you have a less likely chace of getting it. In highly populated areas diseases are much
